The Regional District of Nanaimo and the Dashwood Volunteer Fire Department are hosting an open house on Nov. 28 to mark the official opening of the Meadowood Firehall. Everyone is welcome to join in the festivities from 10 am to noon at 1800 Galvin Place, Qualicum Beach.
