Nanaimo’s parks are alive with the sounds of music. Time to make plans to visit Bowen Park Amphitheatre on Wednesday evenings and Maffeo Sutton Park on Sunday evenings. All performances run from 6pm to 7:30pm. The schedule is as follows:

Wellington Jazz Combos pay homage to the jazz greats drawing from the standards to create a high energy performance. The students perform at a number of festivals locally, and across Canada and into the United States, honing their stage skills and their

The Wave Quartet -Terra Zetto
Terra Zetto is a multi-instrumental trio featuring continental musical styles from Europe, North and South America. Add a dash of gypsy, jazz, Bossa, Latin and funky styling and voila! You have this unique musical blending. The Wave Quartet After sailing off on different adventures, Wave Quartet has resurfaced in 2010 to bring you more of
that great barbershop sound you’ve been missing. Whatever they sing, you will be carried away on a sea of beautifully produced vocal offerings. These women love to sing.

Theo Massop Trio sing and play a viariety of original roots based rock, pop and blues music.
Glen Foster Group
Glen Foster Group play original folk rock and country flavored pop.
Masimba Marimba Band
Masimba Marimba Band is a great percussion group from the Cowichan Valley that play vibes and drums.
