Sturgeon Exhibition

When: July 23 – August 21, 2010  Opening Night Reception: July 23rd, 5:00 – 7:00pm

This exhibition will feature the works of ceramic artist, Margaret Haydon. Haydon who is on a four month sabbatical from teaching duties at the University of Wyoming is Vancouver Island University’s first visiting artist in residence. Using the VIU’s International Centre for Sturgeon Studies as inspiration Haydon is turning her interest in sturgeon into the unique ceramic art being featured during the run of this exhibit. The sturgeon art collection of Gordon Edmondson, a director of the International Sturgeon Research Centre will also be part of this fascinating exhibition.
