Looking for opportunity - this Peregrine Falcon flies over Nanaimo

Ralph was at the the right place at the right time to capture this sleek photo of a Peregrine Falcon in flight over Nanaimo’s waterfront.  The Peregrine Falcons have been clocked at divespeeds of over 300 km per hour! They prefer to eat other birds, and rarely other mammals.
