Tenders, clearly marked “Tender for Bowen Road Widening” will be received by the Manager of Purchasing & Stores up to 2:00 p.m. local time, December 21, 2010 at the Purchasing office, City of Nanaimo, 2020 Labieux Rd, Nanaimo, BC, V9T 6J9. Tenders will be opened in public, in the Purchasing Department, immediately after the closing time.
The work consists of a pre-stressed box girder bridge built in two phases; road widening complete with concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk; street lighting; two signalized intersections; storm sewer mains, appurtenances and services; sanitary sewer main, appurtenances and services; water supply and distribution mains, appurtenances and services; and an MSE (mechanically stabilized earth) retaining wall and all works incidental thereto as shown on the drawings, specifications and contract documents.
Contract Documents may be examined and obtained from the Purchasing Department at 2020 Labieux Road, Nanaimo, BC, on or after November 23, 2010 upon payment of the non-refundable sum of $112.00 (HST included).
