Save Linley Valley Letter writing Campaign

Would you like to see more of Linley Valley saved?  Now is your chance to take part in a letter writing campaign that would help ensure more of Linley Valley is made into a park.

First, where is Linley Valley? It is located in the heart of an urban area in Nanaimo,  between Rutherford Road to the west and Hammond Bay Road to the North and Rock City Road to the east.  Only a fraction of the area  has been set aside as a park.  The rest is “green space” that could be developed.

Letters to support including Linley Valley on a draft land-use order can be sent before Feb. 15 to Bill Zinovich, Integrated Land Management Bureau, West Coast Service Centre, Suite 142, 2080 Labieux Rd., Nanaimo, B.C., V9T 6J9.
