Jake’s Gift – 3 day run at The Bailey Studio Theatre

Written and performed by Canadian Playwright Julia Mackey, Jake’s Gift has won numerous awards including Best Solo Show, Best Drama, and Best Female Performer at the Victoria Fringe Festival in 2008 and the Best of the Fest at the 2008 Edmonton Fringe Festival.

Jake’s Gift is a powerful comedy-drama about a cantankerous WWII veteran who reluctantly returns to Juno Beach for the 60th Anniversary D-Day.

Auditions for “Doubt” in Nanaimo

Are you an actor? Auditions for “Doubt” will take place at the Bailey Theatre,
Thursday, June 25th from 7 to 9 pm,
Saturday, June 27th from 1-3 pm.

Actors required for this production are:
one man early 30′s to early 40′s,
one woman 50 to 60,
one woman mid-to late 20′s,
and one black woman mid-to late 30′s.

Selected actors will begin rehearsals the last week of August
