Kids Ride Bus Free – Nanaimo

Planning to take the bus on your Halloween weekend? The kids can ride the bus for free! The “kids ride free program” runs between 6:00 p.m. Friday and the end of service on Sundays, adult passengers can bring two children who are aged 14 and younger on board the transit bus for free.

The Program is offered to parents, family members and guardians as long as the adults pay for their transit fare. For more information visit Nanaimo Regional Transit on the blogroll.

It must be the long weekend approaching! Gas prices are creeping up. Found the best prices so far at Gas n go and Tempo on the Island Hwy.

It looks like we should be prepared for higher prices as the HST comes in and then what was that other tax that was also coming in? Yes, it is called the carbon tax.

Is anyone ready for a new tax or just a user fee!
