Do you enjoy a good treasure hunt or geocaching? You will want to try and find the Golden Shoe!

It all happens between April 15th and May 20, 2011. Each week a clue to a new location of the Golden Shoe will be posted on the Regional District of Nanaimo website see blogroll.  Also, for maps of the Regional Parks and Trails Guide, check out their website. 

Clue Number One for week 1 – April 15-21, 2011
A southern loop on a northern country trail. A stumpy bear?! New parking at Lioness!

Clue 4 for Golden Shoe Hunt

Golden Shoe Hunt – Clue Number Four:
For the week of May 7th – 14th

On a mount south of Witchcraft Lake, you’ll have to climb your way to Rafe

To claim a prize, retrieve a token from the shoe and return it to Oceanside Place in Parksville by May 31. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am – 6:00pm.

Six Locations!

Clue Number Two:
For the week of April 23rd – 30th

Travel south to find this suspenseful trail and The Abyss!

Find the location of the Golden Shoe by using the map of the (RDN) Regional District of Nanaimo Trail Guide.

To claim a prize, retrieve a token from the shoe and return it to Oceanside Place in Parksville by May 31.
