Nanaimo Museum is featuring the mouthwatering event, “Sundaes on Sundays.” For only a dollar, they will help you make your own serving of old fashioned, handmade ice cream from real cream!
Come to the Nanaimo Bastion every Sunday during July and August between 12 noon and 2pm and bring your appetite and maybe some fresh berries? Yummy.

As part of its fund raising campaign, Passion for the Bastion, the Nanaimo Museum is planning an event called the Cannon Art Affair on Sunday, May 23rd at 8 pm at Pioneer Waterfront Plaza. Sponsors together with local volunteer artists will fire up the cannons and create brilliant art!
After the Cannon Art Affair, you can stay and watch the fireworks at 10 pm.
The Nanaimo Art Museum is trying to raise $300,000 to restore the ailing Bastion which is closed until funds can be secured to repair it.
Tomorrow – Friday Nov 27 at 11 am at the Nanaimo Bastion, the descendants of the original Princess Royal settlers will gather for a ceremony outside. Everyone is welcome to attend.
