  • Women: 1x (age 45 and up); 7x (age 16 – 45)

Be prepared to: read lines (provided), sing a song and  follow simple dance instructions. There will be a rehearsal/orientation in November and full rehearsal starting January 2012.  The show runs for 15 performances between March 22 and April 15, 2012.

“A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum” takes comedy back to it’s roots, combining situations from time-tested, 2000 year old comedies of Roman playwright Plautus with the infectious energy of classic vaudeville. The result is a non-stop laugh-fest in which a crafty slave, (Pseudolus), struggles to win the hand of a beautiful but slow-witted courtesan, (Philia), for his young master, (Hero), in exchange for freedom.
