Vancouver Island Weeds
Who would think that you would get weeds with your top soil? A trip to the local big box home and garden centre eight years ago resulted in the purchase of several bags of locally made premium top soil, labelled ‘forest finds.’ Ever since then, weeds like the one pictured above crop up, without fail. Somehow these weed seeds must have got into the soil and they are very persistent.
In a hundred years these weeds will be so common on Vancouver Island that people will call it broom!
